Greetings!
I have been writing as a hobby for around 25 years now, on and off pursuing it more seriously, always flattered but somewhat bothered by responses from friends and colleagues to my work of “You should be a writer.” Perhaps. But I blame myself for the lack of motivation to hone my skills because I am lazy, unlike many years ago when I blamed it on beer.
I do have a day job that I enjoy and pays well enough to pay the student loans back, but I often feel the itch of a story longing to be scratched like a white cat hair stuck in your eye for a week…or something. And enough of that.
After searching for a writing forum with signs of intelligence, I stumbled on this one. It looks like writing is taken seriously here, and I have read several threads with good suggestions and constructive feedback. I look forward to posting here and improving my writing.

Well, you sure should be a writer, which is what I'll strive to become. I just registered at this "forum with some sign of intelligence", let's see what becomes of me in the next half of this year

I'll apoligise in advance for any 'constructive criticism' i might venture in the future. I do get carried away you know. ^^
Other than that, welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay, and please find emergency exits located to the front, middle and rear of the aircraft.
