hello hello

hi, i'm huffing with the website already cus i cant get my avatar to work. grrr. its just me though, i'm not very computer savvy, lol.

anyways, hi everyone, i don't exactly know how to introduce myself, but here goes.

my name is Laura (but don't tell anyone cus i'm operating under a secret forum name! =P), i'm 17, i live in a delightful little country called Northern Ireland. i'm still at school, doing horrid exams which may or may not kill me by the end of this year, but next year i'm off to uni! hurrah! there i will be studying for a degree in english literature and theology. my hobbies usually tend to be singing, playing guitar (or trying to!), writing (of all kinds, even fan fics, eek), other artsy stuff, being a forum internet geek, hanging out with my lovely group of friends (we have this very tight, almost impossible to break clique, and we're all a bit geeky, lol), church related activities, watching cartoons and cooking programmes, aaaand, i don't really know what else. lots of stuff.

stuff that interests me would be: other peoples' poetry and books and writings and stuff, preferred type of music would be rock and/or roll (lol, sorry!). i don't know, i don't want to subject you all to the fine details of my mind and my life, so i shall spare you the rest and hopefully find some lovely new friends here who aren't put off already by this introduction, lol. its been fun, thank you.

PS: i apologise for the lack of grammar and lazy internet typing skills.

helloooo, and thank you very much for your lovely welcome! yes, Ireland is a great place to live in my opinion. but having never lived anywhere else, i wouldn't know! lol. but i recommend a visit...its very green. the history is fascinating too. i love all the hertidge my town has. where i live, its a harbour town, and there is a huge castle here that was built by the normans in the 12th century. soooo much history behind it and its a beautiful big castle. hehe, i love it here. but i'll stop going on now. from what i have browsed already of this place i love it! i can never settle in any writers forums i've been at before but this place is quite a find! =)
