Howdy!

I'm not sure how to introduce myself, because I write from so many angles. My deviantART page is located here: http://speculative-one.deviantart.com/

Currently I'm trying to keep working on my NanoWrimo novel which is a serious fantasy story, but I'm also kicking around the notion of starting a "literary" novel about how young people cope with entering the workforce. Also, I've written poems ranging from traditional pieces on nature (see "A Peaceful Rest") to science fiction poetry (see "Electric Bride" ) to avante-garde style poetry (see "Streetlamp Terror" or "I Went Ahead."). In Creative Writing class, I wrote mostly sci-fi and satirical sci-fi ( ) flash fiction (see "Silent Mirage," although its ending leaves something to be desired).

I should probably work on short stories rather than novels at this point in my writing development, but novels have always called to me. I wrote about 300 pages while working on a fantasy novel in high school. I never finished it, but working on that novel remains the most fun I've had while writing. I'll probably be throwing up my Nano novel in parts on DA soon.

Nice job on the forums (layout, graphics, etc.) and nice to meet all of you!
