Poor me/lucky me

Just found this sight. I've a broken arm at the moment which means I cannot work - 6 weeks down at least another 6 weeks to go. I course I should be writing writing writing, but can't get to the right place in my head - and my typing is painstaking requiring careful propping up of said arm. So this seems ideal procrastination.

broken arm

Poor you little S. A broken arm is a pain in the ..... I should know, I broke mine last year. I suppose it's your writing arm that's knackered otherwise you could write straight onto paper easier. I don't envy your finger tapping situation. If I was you I would borrow or buy a good dictation machine and use that. Write up anything worthwhile at a later date.
The hardest part of writing is the initial stuff. Just relax, appreciate your surroundings and begin writing about anything. Or find three random words in the dictionary and begin... good luck!

It's the right arm that's bust - I am left handed. So technically there's no reason for not producing thousand's of words a day. And the ideas are there almost fully formed. It's my state of mind that's not there - I just cannot apply myself and the guilt grows daily that I'm not using this ideal opportunity...lack of discipline?
