Is This The Way In?

Hello everybody, my screen-name is "OneTiredMama" - the reason being that I have two beautiful small people in my life.

I am very new, very new to public writing, although I have been writing long, long emails since becoming a mother, to those who will read them (or do they just press delete when they see its from me?!). A close member of the family commented seriously that I should be a writer. That was exactly three years ago. Until now I haven't done anything about it.

So, I am here to ask for advice, help, guidance, feedback and so on.

Where and how do I start?

Looking forward to your help.

Kind regards - "OTM"

Thanks... and congratulations to you! When is he/she due?

I really like this site.

So what do I tend to write? Well, just stuff about my life really, sometimes quite philosophical, sometimes humorous, or full of angst if I am having a bad day! The children are pretty inspirational.

I've just started keeping a journal (a paper one as opposed to electronic), so I am hoping that I can get some ideas down.

So how did you get started?
