Hello, Moto...
Hi everyone! I'm a postgraduate student (doing a Master of Research in psychology), who writes as a hobby, with hopes of being published someday. I'm 21 and live with my partner in Oxford, UK. I'm working on a couple of projects (novels, one sci-fi, one fantasy) and I also write fanfiction in various forms, to fill in the gaps when I'm not feeling up to serious writing.
Basically, that's me...I write because it's fun, and to express myself, but feedback is always very important to me, and I like to talk about what I write and listen to other people talking about their projects. Hence I joined this forum!

Thank you! So do I. It's a terrific city (and university).

i have just moved away from that area... sort of...
i am not much of a "big city" girl but when Stephen took me there for a day of shopping, i really enjoyed myself, (well who wouldn't?)
too many people for me though.
is your partner at uni too?

Cool
I really hate cities, we're living here as a means to an end.
Yes, my boyfriend is in the last year of a law degree at Christ Church, Oxford

It's bad. I live so close to Oxford, and yet I've never visited the city. I keep planning to, but it somehow never quite happens.
*sigh* The things just around the corner are often the ones we ignore the most.
Anyway, welcome to the forum ThePet (I'll do my best to refrain from saying Auf Weidesein ). I hope you enjoy yourself here.

i saw an episode a while back when they were meant to be building a bridge of some sort, but the matterials didn't turn up and they were sleeping in a cabbin together - and from what i saw, it was pretty boring

Lol, thanks for the welcome, everyone. My boyfriend and I have decided that one of our friends can commit a crime, he can defend them and I'll testify to get them let off on grounds of insanity...
Must say I never liked 'Auf Wiedesein Pet', but my parents love it.
