Hey everyone! I'm Shannon and I am a fairly new writer with a writer's club if anyone is interested in checking it out. http://club4writers.com I would like to know if there are any book writers out there and if anyone has any good tips on how to get started! Thanks.

Oh you will learn lots of things...*smiles* I have only been here about a month maybe a little longer and I have learned many things and improved my writing. This place has even broadened my point of view and showed me many more styles of writing!

Way Kewl! I'm kinda a new writer....just never publicized my stuff before. Now that I own a Writer's Club, I'm forced to publicize my writing. And now I'm trying to challenge myself in writing a book. It'll take years for me to do it, I know, but...it's a learning experience and something to improve my writing on.

Very well... a good first step I would say. I have yet to compile an entire "book" of "poetry" myself. I may well start it soon, I know I can do it, but as you said it will take time. I will have to write more often also...
