Hey writers,
Hi, my name is Andy Tran and I am just not a good writer. Well, I like to do a lot of things for fun like drawing, writing stories, and play online games over the internet like Doom.
Guys, is writing better than drawing? Writing and drawing are in the family of art. Hey, can you guys show me a writing forum where a lot of people go to it?

Hi Andy! I love to write and I used to love drawing, but then I realized that I wasn't as talented in drawing as my mother thought as I was, so I'm sticking to writing. Call me an idiot savante.
Writing forum? Hmm... lemme see... nope. Don't know any.

Hello Andy.
Which is better? I don't think either writing or drawing could claim superiority over the other - as you say they're both art, and they both have a lot to offer. I love doing both, although I'm certainly not a good artist.
A writing forum with lots of people? Ummm.... I think you may have found it, Andy. I don't suppose this is the busiest out there, but it's almost certainly one of the best - the community here is good, people are friendly, and there is plenty going on.
Also, this forum is associated with several other sites, all forming part of a larger whole - www.Lit.org is the main one: there's thousands of stories, poems, and other writing there, so even if you think the forum looks quiet (which it isn't), there's a lot more going on than just the forum.
Anyway, I hope you'll stay here; I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here.

I agree-- I don't think either is better, AndyT, but one certainly comes more naturally to me right now. Although I have a line of characters that I draw and put on products, and I've drawn since I was two, I'd have to say that writing is *easier* for me at this point. I don't know... I really have to be in a certain mood to sit down and put out a new picture.
Anyway, welcome!

Welcome Andy!
I would say, just like Spudley, that neither writing nor drawing is better than the other. I am average at drawing: give me something *realistic* to draw, and no matter what object you give me, it'll look like a bundled bunch of lines of graphite. I'm more of the cartoonist drawer, although I'm not superior at it.
For me, I sometimes interlock drawing with writing. When I'm at a loss for words, I may draw a scene from my story. Sometimes, visual aids can get the juices flowing.
Again, welcome to the forums. You've found a real friendly bunch. Enjoy. We're all looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Drawing and writing....they're close cousins. Neither better nor worse, although my failure with drawing lends me some bias.
Welcome to the forum, btw. Yu'll learn alot here and hopefully enjoy yourself as well. I'm looking forward to reading your work.

Greetings
Hello Andy T. Welcome to the forum.
Drawing and writing? I find a word that's worth a thousand pictures is more exciting than a picture worth a thousand words.

Hello Andy
This is a fairly active site. The more active the site the less personal. I go to ThoughtCafe. It's almost too busy. Most of the members are poets. My longer prose don't get much viewing. I don't have the URL convenient. Find it thru a search vehicle.
