Hallo everyone!!!

And no, I'm not British or anything like that, I just like the sound of 'hallo' a lot better than 'hello'

I'm new here, as you can obviously tell. I've been writing pretty much ever since I can remember, but I've had trouble finishing stories (to give you a good idea of my trouble, to date I've only finished one or two). Right now, I'm working on a new story about six experimental communties(well, two of the six, to be exact), but I'm starting from the end, so I don't think I'll be posting it until I'm completely finished with it, because otherwise, who'd bother reading the whole thing if they already knew what was going to happen?

Anyway, I'm Chinese (and proud of it!). To see a list of my hobbies, just visit my profile. I'm a senior in high school and do NOT ask me what colleges I'm thinking about because I hate that question more than any other question in the world since I've been asked that by everybody since the first day of school last year. To avoid anyone asking that, here's my list:

Johns Hopkins
NYU
Brandeis
UMASS-Amherst
Rutgers
American University
Barnard College

There . . . now never ask me again!!!! teehee . . . anyway . . . um, that's about it for now, I think, though you can ask me pretty much anything you want and I'll probably answer, since I love talking, and especially about myself

Oh, and I like writing fantasy stuff the best.

Hey there. Welcome! I know what you mean about liking to talk about yourself, I'm like that too! I look forward to checking out some of your fantasy writing, and I'm sure you'll find lotsa help here!

btw- I have a friend who went to Brandeis and he didn't have much positive to say about it, just fyi. I think it's an awesome school though, in a great part of town.

Everyone's been telling me not to apply to Brandeis- they say that if you're not Jewish, you won't be able to get on there! But I don't know . . . I really like its location (the town's really pretty, it's close to Boston, and 10 minutes from my cousin's house), and the people there seemed really nice when I went to visit . . . well, I've got about eight months to go, so who knows!! I guess anything goes

Welcome --

I went to college back in the early sixties, got a degree, and never used it except peripherally in the orchid thing. It comes in handy with the writing, in that it gives me basics for the SciFi, and characters to draw on in the other stuff.

Yeah...I like writing. For some reason I'm in college. I guess it's basically to prevent myself from laying around all the time. That and so in case writing fails, I have a degree to fall back on.
