I'm new, too . . .

Good evening to all.

It's been a long time since I posted/chatted on-line. Have there been any incredible advances in on-line etiquette? Is all caps still rude? Do people still make cute smiley faces with their characters and say things like LOL and KIT?

Thanks, in advance, for any tips on posting/writing.

WBS, OK?

Welcome Back..

(reading imaginary list of answers to your questions)

It seems as though the answers are all "Yes".

Welcome back

You get used to those things. The only forums that don't use them much are the hard science type. Scientists tend to dislike things that aren't well-defined.

Re: I'm new, too . . .

Hia Mustard!

Let's see... the smiley faces are turned into graphical faces by the forum software... like this ... but apart from that I don't think much has changed.

I'm sure you'll get back into the swing of things easily enough - I'll look forward to seeing you around the forums.
