Welcome

Post it, and they'll read. It's what we do. Sometimes. Partly. Now and then.

We procrastinate, too!

Hi Farror,

Greetings and welcome. I've just been reading your story, and I thought I'd take a moment to welcome you to the site. Hope you enjoy our little community.

I notice you also posted a "please comment on this" on your story on the main Lit.org site, so I'll just make a few comments about that....

The best way to get comments on your writing here is to comment on others' work. I see you've posted a few comments already, which is good, but you probably need a few more before you'll really get noticed.

A familiar name is usually the one that gets read and gets comments: There's a fair amount of work being posted on the site, and no-one has time to read it all (especially longer pieces), so people tend to look for names they know. It's not intentional, but it does have the side effect of sometimes leaving newcomers without many comments.

Anyway, I'm about to get the ball rolling on your story with a comment of my own, so I'd better stop writing here, and get back to that!

All the best.
