HI yes you guessed it, another newbie on board!

Hello to all. My user name is icemaiden, but feel free to call me ice, I am 27 years old, and have been writing for as long as I can remember.

I have never had the confidence to do anything with my work, until now. I am what you might call a closet writer, and I am now ready to come out. I thought about starting small, and working on the many short stories I have collected over the years, but then I thought, hey what the hell, I want to write a screenplay, and since making that decision, many things have fallen into place.

I also write short stories and poetry, I have so many scraps of paper with ideas, feelings, memories and all sorts written on them, that I am sure I am responsible for a rain forrest somewhere that is no longer in existance!

Anyway, this is me, I am looking forward to hearing from you all, and to being a part of this forum

Hullo Ice.

Good to meet you. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun here.

Keep hold of all those scraps of paper! I've also got a hefty pile of them; every now and then I scan through them, and something always pops out that I can use for a story or poem or whatever. The end result doesn't usually bear much resemblance to what I originally thought of when I wrote the note, but that doesn't really matter - it can be the inspiration spark for you to go off in a completely unexpected direction.

Welcome, Ice!
I have so many ideas and false starts (and not a few finished duds) that I've put them all on a CD, and add what came up once a week.

I keep telling myself I'll go through all that one day -- when I'm at a loss for an idea.

Hiya! Welcome to the forum, Icemaiden. Yes, I hope that you recycle all those ideas. I look forward to seeing them here or in the bookstores one day. Hope your stay is long and enjoyable. Nyo~

Welcome Icemaiden,
I am pretty new around here too, and trust me, before you know it, your writing will take on a life of its own, and you will be posting your eyeballs out!
