Wassa Happening?
Hello generous and kind fellow authors. Just thought I would introduce my humble self. I'm 22, living in Riverside, California and working in a print shop for a defense contractor. I thoroughly enjoy writing and wish to pursue it as a career sometime later on in life. I consider this site as practice and a good place to receive some honest critique. (and hopefully a small measure of praise, only when it is due of course)
I was taken aback by this site when I first stumbled upon it. As was already mentioned in an earlier intraoduction post, most of the other sites out there are either chock full of waste-o-space advertising/spam or so full of pretension and ego that you can hardly breathe. Just in reading a few of the works on this site and the comments and responses I can see that there is a strong and supportive sense of community here. One in which I am most definitely looking forward to participating in.
