Essays and Funnybooks

Hello all, I'm a long time quasi-writer of sorts (mainly for school assignments). Lately, I've been doing mainly comic books (writing and drawing), but I'm interested in branching out into some old fashioned WRITING-writing.

So far, all I have on that front is some (admittedly) attrocious poetry, but err, I'll be working on it!!

Oh also, I write rants. Ranting is fun.

Anyway, just letting you all know that I'll be lurking, and maybe do some critiquing of other's work. Thanks all^^.

Lurking is not a good thing unless you wear shades.

Welcome Karen.

In lurk-mode, no-one can hear you drawl.

Hiya, Karen! Welcome to the board! It's true; you can't fully rant when you're lurking around. I hope your stay is long and enjoyable, and hopefully I'll see you more around the forum. Nyo~

*blinks*

Wow, you know I didn't even mean "lurk" as in "looking around but not posting much", I meant it as in 'hanging around'....completely disregarding the usual connotation of 'lurk' within web-culture. How careless of me.

Then again, I've been hanging out in comic/anime land for a while, and not to insult the inhabitants of said subcultural realm, but I could probably substitute the term "Dominant Paradigm" with "Shiny Banana", and half the posters on a lot of my favorite forums wouldn't rewally notice.

How nice to find myself in an area where people respect the sanctity of words^^.

Wow, not only was the above posted by myself, but apparently I respect the sanctity of words so much that I practice 'creative spelling'!!

Who says you can't spell "really" with a W....
