So, uh, hi there.

Just registered and thought I'd do the intro thang...

I'm 24 and a freelancer writer; primarily on internet, programming and design topics. I've written for a few magazines and have an ongoing series online, but writing isn't my day job.

I'd love to write about something other than technology. I'd love to be a journalist, but they don't let you do that without some training.

Some day, I want to write a book on something that doesn't involve computers. Like a novel. Or a collection of essays. Or something.

Before I do that though, I need to get rid of the writer's block that perpetually plagues me.

I'm hoping hanging out with ya'll in a writer friendly atmosphere will help me do that.

So, hi there. I'm Liz.

Hello, Liz, and welcome.

Atmosphere does help sometimes, so I hope this helps a bit. Though I'd stay away from the regulars, they're a tad kooky....

*grin*

Welcome in,
-Kitten

A tad kooky!!!

A tad KOOKY!!

I beg to differ. I personally am a lot kooky and not regular in the least.

But when the warden speaks, this inmate listens.

*running frantically away from the men in white coats*

All shenanigans aside, welcome aboard Liz and I hope you'll make yourself at home.

Welcome to the hard-shelled dicot seed domicile!

We could maybe conspire. You need to get rid of writer's block -- and I need to acquire some! I'm writing three different novels and seven or eight articles and shorts right now!

If you value sanity, you wouldn't have come here, so you'll fit our little group very nicely, I think.

Ah, well. Back to the old grind.

Come into the laboratory, little girl. I won't hurt you! mwhah Ha HA!
