hmmm....well acually Penelope, i got my avatar from the white-stripes website. it was the only place I rembered seeing images the right size for an avatar. And i was way too lazy to play with dimensions...or to find a program to do it... anyway, thanks for the reply. I was wondering, what exactly does everyone talk about around here? do you just pass around writing samples, or talk about....(insert subject) i like to write, mostly plays, the only poetry i write is haikuu..but that's because it's a calming exercise of the mind...oh no, now off on myself. please stop me...

p.s. quarterstein, thankyou for the reasurence.

Short version: An avatar is the small picture under each user's name on the forum.

Spudley points to another topic on the forum called Avatar vs Avatar where this is already being discussed.
