Grab me...it's lovely!

The name's Delgesu. This seemingly a nice cosy place full of wildly crazy banter, I thought I'd introduce myself.
I write on the basis that as soon as my fingures type a word, sentence, anything I can invariably go on from there and surprise myself with the formless junk that is stuck in my wizened old head...oh, er, dont be fooled by that...I'm actually young, virile and damp as the next person.
I have put some little bits of fiction on litdotorg and would be obliged if anyone but Spudley could have a look and be constructive. Not that Spudley isn't appreciated at all...ahem...of course he is....
My aim for coming here is to write. I want to write in the thread, just as soon as something grabs me and I can do it I will, although I have an awful feeling I'm destined to start threads as opposed to finishing them. I want to write pointless, colourful, thought-provoking prose and I want to have a million pounds and another three wishes please.
Thanks for listening,
Delgesu

oooh! a sticker!

* Spudley feels better now *

I've actually really enjoyed reading your work Delgesu. I haven't read them all (and if I recall correctly, I've only had time to actually post a comment on one of them so far), but I've liked what I've read so far.

I know I'd love to see you in the Thread too - it's been feeling a bit neglected recently, and an injection of fresh talent will give it a boost.

Anyways, my heartiest welcome to you. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun here.

Thank you for your welcome. It is much appreciated. I can only hope you'll all inspire me, as I'm sure you will.
By the way, how big are the stories allowed to be on litdotorg? Hmm?

There are some extremely large stories posted on the site, so I don't think there's an absolute size limit (but if you're planning to post something truly huge it might be worth checking with Chris first).

However, if you're going to post something really large, it is generally better to cut it up into manageable chunks, and post it into the "Serials" category. (have a look through that category to see how it works)

It's a lot easier to read if it's shorter, and it's easier to comment on them too.

Just don't got posting a finished novel and we'll be okay. Something that big should be broken up or you'll get very little views and comments, maybe even none. What works best is breaks of 1000 -1500 words more people are apt to read it from start to finish. Though I will tell you serials are not one of the best read things on the site. Just a little warning.
