I'm of the mind that pessimism is just a skate; also a device whereby older folk get to piss and moan about things that don't really affect them. There's no point in being down on things just for the sake of being down on them .. This world isn't _all_ bad, and I think you can all agree. I mean, what's 'of the worst possible world' and 'ultimately evil' about lit.org, par example?
But I also strongly believe that whatever anybody thinks is their own business, whether it be positive, negative or someplace inbetwixt the twain. So ROCK ON, Kujo

ps: I used to be quite a pessimistic, cynical, mean-spirited bastard m'self. Then I realized that you catch more flies with honey .. My mother used to tell me that constantly, but it took nearly a decade to sink in.
My writing is still pretty gloomy, but that's because I enjoy a good laugh at the expense of the chronic do-gooders that infest this planet. We need balance, and I think the hand is in favour of the goodguys. I mean, whan was the last time you saw a movie where the bad guys won (besides Payback) ?
