introducing myself

Ummmmmmm, a little bit about me? Well, I should start by saying that I am a youngster who enjoys creative writing. Like many of the other writers on here, I enjoy the mind body connection of martial arts. I am also interested in weightlifting, reading, and enjoying all that life can offer me. In both reading and writing, I prefer the thought provoking, with a slice of darkness occasionally tossed into the mix. That isn't to say I don't like reading and writing about hope and beauty, but I find the disturbing more thought provoking on the whole. I welcome everyone's comments, and I hope I can become a better writer by being in the company of such a talented group.

Welcome aboard strangedays. It's nice to have a fellow martial artist on the forums. Keep the good work coming it's been a pleasure to read.

Hi strangedays. Strangedays indeed. Most perculiar...

I know nothing about martial arts, apart from the fact that it hurts if you are on the receiving end of it.

Welcome, Strangedays --

You'll find this is both a fun and informative group. Glad to have you aboard.

We all need to know more about marital arts. I know that's an area where I could use ... what? MARTIAL arts? [blush]

Welcome to the board, Strangedays. ^_^

It is nice to hear from someone who likes a "slice of darkness" in writing too. ::is a big fan of dark material:: Thought-provoking pieces are the best. Yet I think they are the hardest to write. Oh well. I hope to see you around the forum and read what you may have in store for us.

I don't mind a slice of darkness in my work, as long as I've eaten my greens first...
