Why not

I usually skip right over the "introduction" board on any forums page because well, unless you're new and going to post your introduction who reads these things, but this time, I decided I'd give it a shot. I'm 23 yrs old, struggling writer from Western Tennessee! I'm a laid back guy and generally get along with EVERYONE so get in touch with me if you'd like to play Pong with some ideas, or just shoot the proverbial s#!! I'm up for whatever.

Generally, I'm more predisposed to suspense/thriller writing than any other kind of ficition, although I do dabble a little into some historical stuff now and then, but it usually all still crosses back to suspense. What can I say, I'm a sucker for plot twists and pit falls. But I've been writing since I was 7, so I've touched on just about every form of fiction at some time or another.

Welcome

I'm a serendipitous writer, myself, having a SF series and two murder/mystery/suspense series, lots of technical stuff, a true (well... exaggerated) ghost story, some true crime, etc. etc. I've got 85 books listed.

My parents were from Tennessee. The Chatanooga area, and I still have a lot of relatives there. When I was in music I spent some time in Nashville. I knew a Hendrix in music (yep! Jimi! We did NOT like each other, but we respected each other).

Guess I just gave away that I'm an OLD fart!

Anyhow, welcome!

Yo, Matt

I was in with the group a bit, Pearl and Hendrix were close friends.

I always said he was probably the best rock guitarist alive at the time -- and he was a jerk. The two assessments aren't mutually exclusive.

He said much the same about me, except the best guitarist bit, though he grudgingly admitted I had a flair for arrangement and writing.
