hello this is me...wait no its not ..its part of me

hello to all....sorry for the corny subject...anyway..hmm what are people supposed to say in this???i sure dont know...well here we go....i love art and music...art is where i find release....just sort of making whatever media bleed out of me..making myself vulnerable..losing myself..i love music as well...i will soon be in a band..playing guitar or singing..i would rather sing though...my biggest musical inspiration is tool...for some reason i get a rush off of exposing myself(mentally and socially) to people i dont know..it just makes me feel natural..but i dont like to do it to a point where i am being selfish...i love drinking herbal tea and just kind of absorbing the time along with thoughts and all that stuff...sorry if this is wasting your time...well im not really sorry..just trying to be polite... i guess it was and still is your choice to read it...but i am sorry if i just now sounded rude...i really have nothing much to write about as of now..well ...no...i dont have any subject matter to write about...i guess thats why im introducing myself though..wow..im too random...well let me know of any cool topics for me to write about please..i feel like the new kid..i dont really know where to go as far as topics and stuff is...it would be great if you could help in directing me..thank you...hope all of you have smiles for life....did i really just say that??...

Hey purple,
I like Tool too, and I used to be in a band, then I quit. Ah well.

Welcome Purple

It seems a lot of us were in bands. I played with some of the biggest at the time (QMS, Deep Purple, etc.) I hated performing, and tried to stay entirely in the writing and arranging end. I'm still one H**L of a guitarist.

You can write about your experiences in music. You will get as much rejection in one field as in the other, so you develop a thick skin and give the ..!. to your non-constructive critics in both.

I wrote several murder mysteries around bands, drawing on actual happenings (such as the fact you can use a murder mystery to kill off an agent who you think should be knocked over in real life).

Oh, well. Welcome, and I'll be looking for some posts. A singer/songwriter usually has an "ear" for poetry -- trhough that isn't true in my own case. Well, much. A little. songs ARE poetry.

I think we need to start some sort of pun rating system and and if you get too many points you publicly flogged or something!
