My introduction
I'm not very elegant with words, or tidy with grammar, and I often make mistakes, but I do like to write on occasion. Writing is something that has not been dominant in my life because it has been surrounded by science. The past couple of years I have been trying to write ideas and concepts, but I simply cannot put it all together. So, I am slowly learning how to write, and I think my feeble skills will improve. I'm almost afraid to write at times, but my desire keeps pushing me into submitting trifle ideas. I am here to learn how to write. I am here to learn from you, and I cannot wait to get started.

A hearty welcome to you.
I love science, the beauty, mystery and awe of it. It seems that you may be a geologist (the name rocks and all) ah the wonders to be found below, beneath and above. I look forward to your writings , you seem like a rock solid type of guy.
Warm Regards,
Bob

Thanks rcallaci.
I sense that this is good place to start writing. Thanks for the welcome.
A scienctist I am, but geologist I am not. I play with numbers all day.

Welcome, Rocks -
Hope to see some posts soon. Several of us here are into science in more than just the writing. I do certain specialized botanical research, among many things.
You like to play with numbers? Does it extend to trig?
If so, check out http://www.maitaman.com/trisect
I keep getting "According to the Pythagorean Theorum, it can't be done, so I'm not going to wste time seeing if you're right."
Ah, the enquiring mind of the scientist!

I'll have to think about that one. Trisecting an angle is something I never thought of. It is different than bisecting an angle in a triangle, however, inside any triangle you could create an equal-lateral triangle. Maybe starting out on easier triangle is the wat to go. I'll look into it fairly soon.
Thanks for the kind words
