    Hello There

Hello everyone, I’m Oornelakes and I rarely finish anything. I like the idea of being a writer much more than I do actually doing any writing. I can so easily see myself in a white house looking out over the Pacific from an all glass living room, pen in hand. But then I think, shouldn’t I have a computer by now? I’d like to say that it feels good to be here, but it really doesn’t. I’ve not been on any kind of forum before, and frankly it feels very strange. I imagine it’s much like how Neil Armstrong felt when he stepped onto the moon for the first time. I could be wrong about this.

    Welcome to WF, oornelakes.
“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” ~ James Allen

Hey, Oornelakes. Welcome to the community.
How To Get Critiques On Your Work: WF is very much a give and take community, meaning the best way to get constructive critiques and comments on your work is to give them to others.

    I'm a turkey!

I'm also a Mentor. What does that mean? It means if you have any questions, all you have to do is ask me. My job is to help you feel comfortable here. (The mods' job is to take away cookies as punishment. Twisted fiends.)
