*waves shyly* Hey there ladies and gents, I'm rachelwrites527. I'm a college freshman majoring in creative writing and have been writing ever since I was five. At first everyone thought it was just a phase. I'd write short stories about the cat or my grandma's neighbor's dog. I grew up, but I never grew out of writing. I write some poetry, but mostly I write novels. I've got two thirds of one and about half of a sequel, along with plans for a third. I hope that someday I can publish my books.

I wish I had majored in Creative Writing! I went instead with silly things like Psychology and Music.

Hello Rachel, and welcome to Writing Forums. I also used to write from my early years on. I rewrote the fairy tales (and the princess always got the prince!) and went on to historical fiction from there.

I wouldn't call Music silly. It is basically telling a story through sounds.
