    Bonjour !

    Hello !
My name is Sophie, but I prefer Vandale. I'm 19 years old and ... I'm french ! Sorry for my bad english (I undesrtand but I hate writing in an other language). I'm here because I write (in french of course) since a long time ago, on a french board; I would like see what the other communities write. I'm curious, that stimulate my creativity !
I student the history in university.
My favourite writers are Balzac (Le père goriot) and Zola. But I read lot's of books, of various style.
I like photography too and the cinema (Fight Club, Clockwork Orange)
In this time, I love the tv show "How I met your mother", but "Dexter" and "Six Feeth Under" too.
But my first passion is politics.

    Voilà ! A bientôt.
    Vandale

    Welcome to the site, Vandale!
“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” ~ James Allen

Bonjour Vandale, comment ça va? Your English is far better than my French - I too have read a little Zole and am partial to both Collette and Françoise Sagan; I remember reading Bonjour Tristesse & A Certain Smile while a schoolboy over 50 years ago; I just read La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas (fils) - All in English I hasten to add.

Hello there, Vandale, and welcome to these forums. I'm from Belgium, but I speak Flemish. My grandfather though was French-speaking and he read to me from the work of Alexandre Dumas, by which I was greatly inspired.

    and welcome!
I love the way you speak (type) I lived in Spain and one of my room mates was French. I studied French for a couple of years, but I don't remember any of it! I will have to practice reading your writing :]

Forget your personal tragedy. We are all bitched from the start and you especially have to be hurt like hell before you can write seriously. But when you get the damned hurt, use it-don't cheat with it."
