New to Forum, not writing

Greeting everyone,

I am currently in North CArolina, plotting my return to Michigan in July 2012. I have been in the classroom for 18 years as a special education teacher. I am finally making a serious transition from the classroom to writing. Never too late, right?

At one point in my life I attended the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics as part of the SUmmer Writing Program at Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. I brought back a really great ball cap from the experience.

I am looking forward to sharing and learning from and with y'all...

Hello Tim! I am also in North Carolina. It's a wonderful place to live. I have only been to Michigan once, and I truly enjoyed it. It's nice to virtually meet you. I congratulate you on choosing to write again. I'm sure it was a difficult decision for you.
