Thread: An Attempt at being Interesting

Hello there, people of the forums.

I am Melly. I'm not a fan or writer of any specific genre. I think it's too broad and general to say that I like or dislike certain genres as a whole. I've written short stories and some not-so-good poetry before, along with a couple short chapter books. Nothing too serious. The closest I've gotten to being published is a story in a newspaper. I always have a lot of ideas with tons of potential to be great novels but I often lack the time to dedicate to writing and also lack the motivation to make time for it. I'm here to refine my writing, find some motivation, and hopefully learn some new things.

Hello Melly and welcome to these forums. It is not always easy to find time for writing. I should know - I work full time as a teacher and try to write a bit in my spare time. Despite the fact I don't write every day, I appear to be able to finish one novel a year so far. (Well, it helps I can sometimes use a computer at work, and do some writing during a break or an hour I don't have to be in class.)
