Hey guys,

I am a new user to the writingforums.com site, but am excited to try and contribute how I can.

I registered for a couple reasons:
a) I love writing and love finding unnoticed people of skill, whether it is in terms of writing, photography, poetry, athletics et cetera.
b) I want to discover if anyone would be in approval of me creating a website based around the skilled people of our world. A site dedicated to sharing great pieces of poetry you wrote, where people can rate and approve it, and eventually where you can sell it. A site where each person can interact with people that are skilled as well. Not as a replacement to a brilliant community such as this one, but rather a place to post a portfolio of your works in many endeavors.

Does that sound appealing to anyone? Could you see yourself belonging to a free-site such as that ?

But how do you make sure that only skilled people join your community? What if someone tries to post poetry who is unskilled? Or what if I am skilled but I want to post poorly written poetry?

First of all, everyone could join. No restrictions. Who am I, or anyone to say that a person is not skilled, but on your portfolio you could acquire tags such as 'Skilled' or 'Audience Verified' through approval of your peers, or a local expert which would catapult you into that 'semi-elite' group. Also if you wanted to be a seller on the website you would have to be either 'Audience Verified' or 'Skilled' from a local expert.
