Thread: from indianapolis..............

where the only decent thing we have going is the memory of Kurt Vonnegut, who i'm actually just starting
to get into reading.
just started writing short fiction and have hopes of learning much from the writers on this
forum, whether you're published or not. i've written 3 short stories in the past few months, all dark fiction,
which so far have gotten me little but... 1 short-list, 2 rejections and a few "no responses". i don't really mind the rejections
though, as i can somewhat see what problems the stories have.
hope this place will help me "sharpen my knife" a bit.

I like short stories with a dark touch so look forward to see your writing. Well done on submitting pieces. That itself is a first step towards publishing.

thanks. "dark fiction" is where my mind tends to lean, but i have hopes of writing something more "literary", eventually.
