    ...just a little bit

I've been writing poems ever since high school, just for myself. I can almost feel it if I haven't written anything for a while - for me it's almost like breathing, a necessary. I write as if I'm breathing, in one long exhale, the same release in pressure.
And on that dramatic note I would like to introduce myself. Hi. I'm an architecture student from South Africa, trying to expand her horizons. This was step one I'm used to not-so-constructive crits, and as such am not scared of a little...forward...feedback - give it to me straight I'll try and do the same.

    Cheers - Willow

If it was a choice between constructive criticism that stings a little and unhelpful ego-rubbing, I'd choose the former every time. I think you've come to the right place. . . .

Anyways, welcome to the forums Willow. We have some brilliant poets on here (IMO) who I'm sure will give you some equally brilliant advice.

    Good luck!

    Welcome to WF, Willow.
