What ho, salutations, greetings, good day...hello?
Very strange for me to return to an internet board; I've been absent from computers for a while now, but tonight I wondered why I hadn't tried to get in touch with other writers and so, here I am. I'm very glad to make your acquaintance, and it's great to see that there are indeed so many out there. I look forward to getting to know some of you.
Little about myself: I'm a student of my local college here in sunny old England, studying Physics and Mathematics, and am currently applying to university to study for a master's degree in Theoretical Physics. However, by night, I write. *possible background lightning, should it help*
I've spent most of my free time writing since I was twelve and have thus far succeeded in my backhanded attempts at a few uncompleted novels and a couple of novellas. However, this year I finally completed my first literary fiction novel, which has been in the works for over two years, and I have now taken up the hunt for unwary agents.

And yes, I'm very pleased to have it finished. There was a great deal of satisfaction when I printed the hard copy of the final draft. Getting my first rejection letter from an agent was also rather exciting, despite the fact that it was a rejection. I'm thinking of pinning it up...
