    I am not a writer.

    Made you look!

Hello there, everyone. I'm a poetess, short story writer, and I've just begun (literally this last week) my first novel. It's "Fight Club" for soccer moms. Quite the interesting read so far...all 5 paragraphs of it. I have a long way to go!

What I need from you is candid, tactless criticism. It's the only way I'll become better. I expect to be inspired by your writings. Please trust that I will criticize your works in the same manner.

Now, I shall go forth and post...

    Hi Seantalia. Welcome to WF.

Thanks, Rob and Jinxi! I'm trying to figure out how to post my fiction, but it's not letting me do so. Says I don't have access to that portion of the site. Anyone know what's up? Thanks.

New members need to have a minimum post count of 10 to be able to post in the creative boards.

The site works on the basis that people get back what they put into it and the best way to get feedback is to become active in the community and get known by other members.
    Hope this helps.

It is a bit of a pain of a rule, but it has stopped a lot of nonsense spam advertising as well, and you are 40% of the way there. If you are a poet you may care to come and have a go in our limerick or cinquain threads, they are good fun and good practice, as well as leaving the odd comment for people. I find that poetry is such a subscribed board there is usually someone there who has posted a poem that has not been commented on, it is such a shame when people make the effort, I usually try to say i do/don't like it and why, those ten posts can go very quickly.

Welcome to the site, I hope you find what you are looking for here, this place really does seem to have something for everyone, the hardest thing is sometimes to get back to writing.
