    Silly Old Lady

That's me. So sorry to do this all backwards, but I didn't notice this thread until others started introducing themselves. I just jumped right in. Guess you have a right to know who's blabbering at you all so much. I'm a "senior citizen" aka old lady on SS and Medicare while it still exists. I have been a teacher most of my life and have taught English and math, but decided on only math years ago, and did that till I retired. I've also worked part time as an editor for school and church publications, and wrote columns in newspapers and a national journal for about a decade. Right now I tutor high school and college students in math part time, and have a "jobby" doing photo retouching and digital paintings from photos. The websites for the latter are under my name in my signature. I run Innographx Forum online, where photographers and artists interested in working digitally learn to enhance or create art directly from photos. I have one daughter, who is an industrial designer and graphic artist, and three cute little Tibetan spaniels. I saved the best for last: I am lucky to be married to the most intelligent, funny, adorable, sweet guy who ever walked the earth.

Glad I found this site and look forward to getting to know the talented folks here!

Off, thanks! I raised five litters of puppies from them. If you think Tibbies are cute, wait'll you see the puppy version. In fact, they're so intensely cute that I had to keep oxygen on hand, because visitors fainted from one glance. If you dare, you can see them here: Tibetan Spaniel Puppies Photo Gallery by Phyllis Stewart at pbase.com Click at your own risk. I can't be responsible for any injuries incurred from fainting.

And they're smart little critters too.

Hello Phyllis, and welcome to the forums. I'm not so young anymore as well, but I still teach and plan to do so until I'm at least 62 (we can officially work until we're 65, but most people go when they are 60, or even earlier).

Hi Phyllis. You're an active member already, I've seen you around a lot. Welcome to WF.

Hi Phyllis. I had a look at some of your digital paintings, and they're very good. I've dabbled in digital painting, myself, but I'm more of a traditional artist at heart. Welcome!

Hi there, Phyllis! Seen you from a few threads in Poetry and I think you're a cool girl.

Having said that, welcome to WF and keep up the good posts!
