    *clears throat* hello.

Hello to everyone on the writing forums. I am vampirezebra and i am currently writing a novelish type story about a group of people surviving in a wasteland. And excuse all spelling errors because i am typing on a touchscreen.

Hi there. Welcome to WF. You have to have a minimum post count of 10 to be able to post in the poetry or prose section. So browse around the forums, get to know members, play a few games and maybe post some critiques for the other writers. That way, you can get more feedback on your works when you post.
And don't worry about being too young, we have 13 year olds on WF too.
“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” ~ James Allen

    Hi Vampirezebra

Welcome the forums. A great place to start is by offering feedback to the work of others in the forum where you'll most likely post your own work. By the sounds of it your best bet is the Writer's Workshop.

Enjoy the site, and happy writing.
The sand of the desert is sodden red, -
Red with the wreck of a square that broke; -
The Gatling's jammed and the colonel dead,
And the regiment blind with dust and smoke.
The river of death has brimmed his banks,
And England's far, and Honour a name,
But the voice of schoolboy rallies the ranks,
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

    Welcome to WF Vampirezebra

I echo Bilston's suggestion - take some time to give feedback on the works of others, that way they will be more than happy to return the favour when you post your works.

Anyways, hope you enjoy your time here with us and don't worry about your age. Words can be powerful, no matter who they come from.
