Hey everyone,
My name is Jason. I moved to California about two years ago to pursue screenwriting (Like the rest of the city). I like to write magical realism and science fiction. I write short stories as well that are based on things I've seen. I'm here to learn how to break into the writing world as a professional, whether it is publishing short stories or writing for fields outside of film like comics and magazines. I hope t learn a lot from this site and everyone else on it.

Thank you for the welcome. I write a lot of shorts and feedback is always welcome. I want to tackle writing a novel one day so shorts are my warm ups until I want to commit to one set of characters for a couple hundred pages
Jason - I love the story types you write about and can't wait to read a few! You have to post 10 times (reply to others works and whatnot) before it lets you post your own poem/prose. Post back in here when you do post your own work so I can find it!

Hi, Jason, I write baseball but I also belong to a writing group where someone who sometimes attends does scriptwriting. If I find out anything, I'll let you know.
