Hello - I finally got round to joining a writing forum after much procrastination. I have been writing poetry for several decades off and on, and one or two friends have encouraged me to share it more widely. So I hope to do that in here and obtain some honest feedback, and maybe entertain one or two of you. More recently I have written travel blogs from visits to the US, India, Mexico and various outposts of europe. I also like to write musings on the various fascinations of life and the universe.

I have already read a few posts here and enjoyed sampling others' styles, moods and skills. Words are powerful precision tools.

As for me - I am in my middle years (I hope) with a family, work and far too much to do. Hopefully writing and reading writing will give me - as I am sure it does for many of you - a pause, a reflection and a dig into life's rich seams.

I look forward to interacting with some of you.
