    Hi, I'm new

Hello, my name is Ty and I would like to be an author someday day (soon). The only thing standing in my way is probably my ardent perfectionism; I'm very critical of my own work. My hope is that by getting feedback from others instead of trapping myself in the vacuum of my own acidic thoughts I'll be able to build some confidence writing. So....here goes!

    Hi Ty. Welcome to WF.
Being with fellow writers really helps, I can say from experience. Hope you get what you want here. Enjoy the site!
“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” ~ James Allen

Hello Ty, and welcome to WF. You should find this a great place to get reciprocal feedback. Have fun, and happy writing.
The sand of the desert is sodden red, -
Red with the wreck of a square that broke; -
The Gatling's jammed and the colonel dead,
And the regiment blind with dust and smoke.
The river of death has brimmed his banks,
And England's far, and Honour a name,
But the voice of schoolboy rallies the ranks,
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

Welcome Feedback isn't as scary as you might think, in fact it's very useful!
