Struggling writer plagued by ambition and fraught with addiction

Yes, I am a writing addict. I have put my whole self into the craft. By day, I am a marketing communications manager - I write web content, blogs, social media postings, collateral and such - and I love that I have a job doing something I enjoy. But when the moon comes out, my inner wolf appears like an unsatisfied beast that yearns for creation and I crave fiction, creative memoir, and I sink my teeth into it through scribbles and jots and journals, in books, in letters and art.
I have piles and piles of unfinished novels, unpublished memoirs and shorts, words I love and hate, and I'm feeling like it's finally time to share and see what kind of feedback the writing community can indulge on my less professional ramblings. Hopefully I can pass on whatever little knowledge I have gained along this journey as well. I'm looking forward to joining you all in this endeavor.

An interesting introductory post, to say the least, and well written to boost. I'm little more than a noob here too, but welcome!

I'm so excited to start participating here. I've already read a couple of good stories and poems, not to mention the excellent and well-thought feedback those posts have received. Thank you for the warm welcome!
