Thread: Hello again,

As some of you more observant types may have noticed from my profile at the left, I'veg actually been a member here for quite some time. I haven't been here in quite a while, however... Things have really changed!

In any case, I'm a wanna-be writer and I've been a wanna-be writer for most of my life. But, truth be told, I have always found writing to be rather self indulgent and a questionable use of time. There always seems to be far more important laundry to be washed or dishes to be cleaned.

I've been hanging out here for the last several years in the hope that maybe some day I'll build up the courage to do this terribly scary thing called writing. I'm so impressed by those of you who have made that commitment. It's a very difficult thing.

As far as writing goes, that's where I'm at.

As you may have guessed, I'm not young. Almost 47 in fact. I have two teenaged kids, a wonderful husband, and a lovely house on the shores of lake huron. I've been a marketing professional, a technical editor, and an English tutor. I think I can put a sentence together.

So, that's who I am. Hello everyone.

Hi Sand, welcome back. We have a lot of returning members, so don't feel alone. Check out the new LM challenge, it sounds like fun and might be a good way to get your feet wet.
