Thread: Hey :)

Hey Guys,

Thought this might be the place to introduce myself before actually getting involved in the forums. Really quite excited to read some new writing, and getting tips and advice from others.

As for myself, I'm a 19 year old student from the East Midlands in the UK and I'm just about to start University. I've been writing for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed it.

For the last year I have been working with an editor, and publicist to promote my second novel Walking on Cinders through social media. I started writing this three years ago and have taken the last year to edit the manuscript. My first novel was called "The Kraken's Curse." What we're launching is a 1,000 books to sell project, as the novel is self published, we are hoping to sell that number as here in the UK it's known as the number at which publishers start to take you seriously.

Must admit I've faced lots of critism because of my age, but things are starting to look up now and if you're interested in finding out more about Walking on Cinders or just want to talk to me (I'm new so it would be nice to meet people!) feel free to message.
