    Talking Hello Everyone :)

Pleasure to be here and I'm so glad to have found this place online.

Well, like yesterday, I created a blog where I sat there panic stricken about sending out my query letters. A kind soul online responded and suggested I find some free writers groups to look over my work (and perhaps stop my jitters).

Do you guys have a book idea that's good but then there's like...a 100 different ways you can tell the story and your having a hell of a time choosing the best way? My book is at nearly 400 pages, done for the most part, just needs to be tightened up, but i keep adding, subtracting, changing ideas, changing characters, driving myself NUTS!

    Seriously, like ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

So maybe I can get some help here.

I can't wait to read and review other authors too, I particularly like modern/YA fantasy-Sci-fi and comedies of all sort. That's pretty much what I write and read and know best, but i'll try some other genres too.

Would love chat with some of you. I have become such a hermit since I got serious about completing my book. I'm proud of myself for sticking to it but now it's time to chat with other human beings other then my partner and kid Thanks for making this website and come on out ya'll and say Howdy!

Hey, awesome. Well done on completing a manuscript.

I know Stephen King suggests when you finish a first draft you should put it in a drawer and leave it for a few months. Don't even peek. Give yourself a chance to forget it a little bit, so when you pick it up to read, beginning to end, you won't be so word-blind. Themes, story arcs, character development... and all the other intricacies will make themselves clearer to you.

I hope you find this place to be of help to you. There are a few people who know a few things, loitering around.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome guys!

Like a fox- I've heard that advice too and it is good advice. It does work, but i've done it so many times already. I've gotten to the point where I had to just say "ENOUGH" with the revisions, especially since no one has really read the whole thing yet to give me their opinions on it.

After i get some feedback them maybe i'll revise it again, but for now done has to be done or i'm going to go to the nut house. lol!

    Balistic,

Welcome to the forum and good luck moving forward with your novel, and starting a new one as that one is submitted for representation/publication consideration.
