Thread: Hello, hello!

Well not much to say. I'm 19 and I've written a ton of stuff, all of it unpublished, just random stuff I liked to have fun.

Tried writing a 5 book series but lost interest in it after the 2nd book was completed so I ditched the project entirely. Worked on a couple other projects but never finished them, mainly cause I started too many at once. Problem is I get these awesome ideas and try to either A.) implement them into the current story or B.) I just start a whole new project.

At current all my efforts are going into writing for an up and coming browser based web game called Rift: World's Collide. The whole backstory and basic concept of the game is my idea that stemmed off one of my many abandoned projects. I do not code the game, I just write for it.

My previous writing playground was a game called Legacy which has grown boring to me so I have decided to stop writing stuff based on it. The game was not mine and I never actually wrote for it, I just wrote side stories and posted them in the wiki attached to the game for competitions and such.

Achievements on Legacy

Gang Radio Show - We had 4 groups called Gangs. I was part of the Outcasts and created a weekly radioshow to have some fun. These usually discussed game updates, gang going-ons and then falls into me ranting for a half hour, with some music in between.

Wastelands Soap Opera - The Wastelands are a multiplayer combat area for Legacy and are also the source of much drama, so I created a funny little script that would bring out all the drama of the wastelands.

Excalibur Hive - A twisted horror version of Legacy. This was a story created to present a new idea to the owner of Legacy but failed horribly when he heard the concept. This short story used players from Legacy and killed them off one by one in gruesome deaths inside the horror filled halls of Excalibur (not where Legacy takes place)

The Cable Guys - before gangs there were clans and they are small groups that did nothing but chat/store money. We created a clan called The Cable Guys to discuss Movies and TV Shows. We even write reviews. The clan was a big success until inactivity of the leader killed it. It's still around, just dwindling.

Rift: Worlds Collide is my current baby right now. It is a fantasy story based off my most recent project, Crystal Clear. Multiple dimensions is the basis of the story, and it has a much different take on how the Universe started...and how the human race started. I won't release too much information as it's still being worked on!

I have had a lot of success with conspiracies but where I fail at is actually ending a project, mainly because I'm scared of ending them, what if it's not good enough? What if it's too quick? So mainly I'm here to improve my ability to actually end a project...

I do have some completed short stories that i'll post later!

Anyways, my real name is not Jason Zero, he's a character in Rift. I like using his name over the internet as it has the same initials as my real name. So that's me, hope to get to know you all over the course of my stay here

for someone who didn't have much to say, you did pretty well
you could try posting some excerpts of your work in the Writers' Workshop
it's a great place to get feedback and don't be shy to return the favour, it's always appreciated
