Thread: Fresh Blood

Hi everyone. I've been looking for a new place to connect with other writers and this looks like a wonderful place to settle in. I'll be looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm a short story writer, mostly speculative fiction, who's had a few stories published in small press and semi-pro publications over the last few years.

I'm also an aspiring novelist and right now one of my manuscripts is one of two finalists in an international competition, which has been pretty exciting. The prize is a publishing contract with Leisure Horror.

Thank you for the welcome and for the vote(s). I really appreciate it. And sorry I haven't been back around. This month has been a little nuts with the contest and all. Right now I'm waiting to find out the results so I'll definitely let you know how it turns out and now at least I should have a little more time to poke around and get familiarized with the site!
