Hi, everyone,
I don't know who I'm talking to: but isn't that a blessing? I am at my kindest among strangers. It's easy to act “accordingly” if nothing is expected. No gesture you receive is empty, and hardly any glance is patronizing. Another good thing: I won't have to compromise myself right away, and if I do, only by words, not the possibly awkward way that I walk.
I'm Francis. I have two children, from two separate wives. At a young age, I thought of myself as an architect. However, I spent most of my time teaching children mathematics and suspicion of authority, oftentimes my own. I'm not a “writer”, but I do write, and the only thing I read are volumes of verse. I don't know of any role model I might have. I mean, I read Charles Baudelaire's Les fleurs du mal, but I'm not sure I understood what he's getting at. My French isn't the greatest, either.
I exclusively write poetry. My poems are short and superficial, but that's how I like them. The themes I work with are: envy, rage, longing, friendship and a mix of the four.
Cheers,
Francis
