JosephB: "Even online you need to respect adults"

Wow. That's really... wow. Tell you what, all-knowing, mighty person who has had "experience" - I'm in my twenties, and I'm starting to doubt that the phase of life called "adult" exists. It's a lie. You just pretend to yourself and establish a dictatorship over anyone under eighteen.

You'll get respect when you earn it.

Oh, and just to point out the obvious: Malone is a god who enjoys derailing semi-good debates.

And debates online are meaningless, JosephB? If anything, they're better - you have time to write your thoughts down, come back to the argument when you're not so heated, and make coherent points. I don't know about you, but I get passionate when in person and just end up relying on sarcasm.

I've never had a vagina so I wouldn't know. As for coming quickly the first time, this is only true if in your excitment you hump in the same fashion you'd suffer a seizure. It's all about pacing, m'boy. Of course, if you're shooting rapid thrusts and manage to stay alive past the ten minute mark then hats off to you.

This could be taken two ways. I've had one -- plenty of times. But I've never had one.

Heh, I took that the first way until I finished reading the post and realized he probably meant it in the second way.

And tristiano, how do you REALLY know she reached 'the big O' as you call it? Did she tell you so herself? Even if she did, I've yet to meet a woman who's never faked it before.

Damien, you are taking me too literally. I mean showing respect to elders. This has to do with manners, tradition, civility. I realize some think these ideas are outmoded or superficial. I think that's sad.

As far as the meaning of adult is concerned, it's about age, sure, but it's also about maturity. Some people, as you know, never mature and are therefore adults in name only. Of course, nothing magical happens at age eighteen, does it? The word is subjective, and to call it a "lie" is just silly.

I'm in my twenties also. I take responsibility for myself and for my decisions. I have a family that relies on me. And I contribute to society. These are the reasons I consider myself to be an adult. These may not be your measures of adulthood. And you may not consider yourself to be adult. And that's fine for you.

Now, when is it that we can expect the coherent points? Oh, this isn't the "Debate" forum. Never mind.

You're lucky.. and really, really silly/ignorant for assuming all of that was lies.

Most times it does hurt for her. Most times, he does come really fast for his first time. Most times, a girl won't have an orgasm her first time.

Generally, it's a case of lies on someone's part if both parties get off the first time. Virgins don't have the experience to get the job done--most times. Sex is supposed to get better with practice--like all skills.

It's not lies.

I didn't orgasm regularly until I'd been having regular sex for four years (and I've known many women who had similar issues). It hurt like hell--not only because of hymen breakage, but there are elements of sex with more finesse--like a lack of lubrication, a lack of interest, a lack of foreplay, uncomfortable positioning, issues of penile size or curvature, etc--that can cause a distinct lack of orgasm or even pain.

Naturally, one assumes you would rather talk about 'fucking'. You're 14, angsty and dreadfully immature. What else could be on your mind than a lack of empathy for fellow humans?

Naturally, I'm also writing this as a mother of very young children who doesn't want her children to grow up thinking of her the way you think of your mother.

But you're not going to grow out of it until you're ready to (if ever). 14-yr-olds always think they know about the world than everyone else (I did at 14 too). They keep thinking things like that until the world proves them wrong.

That's pretty much my experience. Roughness and lack of lubricating activities usually has a girl wincing and asking to stop. Not that I'd ever be rough...or skip the foreplay.

Also, hormonal tendencies (not just periods) can have a dulling effect to lady regions--or make them painfully sensitive. Same goes for breasts.

Another big iffiness is injury. Tampons can hurt. Sometimes she'll need time to heal after a period, infection, or sex (even not-rough, well-lubricated sex can injure a woman if done for a long time, if it involves particularly scratchy beards or other facial hair, fingernails, odd toys, etc).

Btw, tampons don't generally interfere with hymens, from what I understand, because the hymen doesn't stretch all the way across the vagina and the cotton plug certainly isn't going to fill the width of the vagina. I've heard of virgns not having much of a hymen, but I'm not precisely sure how that happens (might be a genetic thing) though I've heard it's not uncommon for athletes to lack a hymen.
