Thanks so much Foxee! I forgot to mention you before, but you're another one of my crowd here on the forums I'd love the chance to meet. I just had a quick look on line and I think the Gold tour does come to Pittsburgh.
I'm glad you like to read about my adventures, it's encouraging

Unfortunately not. The reps from RBBB talked about possibly doing some international tours, but apparently European circuses don't take kindly to American ones turning up on their turf.
So, you were a writer for a soap opera and it sent you to the funny farm? Care to elaborate?

Shame. I haven't been to the circus since I was wee and it would be so cool to come.
Hmmm. re funny farm...its a tragi-comic morality tale...with the message 'be careful what you wish for'. Another time, maybe.
Gonna have a bubble bath

Sounds a bit like my deal with the circus actually. And like you, I'll say "Another time, maybe".
Have a lovely bath

Impressive, Joanna. I chuckled when I saw the picture package titled "JoJo". Did you know there is a children's show in the States called "JoJo's Circus" about a family of circus clowns (it's a claymation show)?

I'm usually not a circus fan, but if you stop near me, I might take a peek.

Thanks Hack No! I hadn't heard anything about that. Going to google it right now.

Looking forward to it Alan. It just blows me away that I'm actually going to get the chance to meet a whole pile of people in person that I've only had contact with here on the forums. I mean what are the chances? I'm that excited

Wonderful news, well done.
Just back from Glastonbury where we spent a lot of time in the theater and circus fields as an old friend has a performance art "Tea Ladies on Tour" that she takes to festivals and her daughter is one of the main organisers on the circus. I thought of you and Vlad when I had seen a really neat dance and lifting act in the big top, it looked similar to the stills you showed us once before. This sounds really different, there was an artist on wrist straps who did his act outside at night with spotlights on him and suspended from a huge crane that was invisible in the darkness but swung him right out over the audience after picking him up from the stage, but he didn't sing. You should try and get into Glastonbury on your way to The States if you don't start 'til autumn. It is a wonderful place for creative stimulation.

I'll have to look at the video cassett when I get home. He was a really fat baby. He's a really massive man and he did it for a while but now he owns a little theatre company in Boston. He's a pretty cool dude, but I don't really see him much. And I never have seen him (or Cirque) perform live.

Congratulations. That's absolutely wonderful, and good job.
You'll have to post a schedule for the rest of us (please). I enjoy going to the circus, and it'd be cool to see you perform; I haven't seen such an act before.
