Tom is on a distinguished road
What a wierd friday night.

So, I'm 15, and unlike the rest of my mates, a friday night out was something new to me. School was having a 'Battle of the Bands', my mates were going and it was a chance to meet some new people, in which I did.

We'd all gone for the same reason, 'The Mandigans'. There online album is coming out in a fortnight, the guitarist and keys were in my form and mates, and they were all pretty awesome. So, anyway, me and my mate Mike go early to check it out, I get to meet the rest of the band, all of them really cool guys. We check out the competition, the other band 'The Raid' in which we came for and the Asian Rappers which I heard about.

People start arriving, girls I know, girls I don't. Everyone and everything goes really well. Then the girl I'm supposed to like arrives, hugs and hello's, then we go back to our mates. Throughout the beginning of the concert, we meet up occasionally, speak and leave again. Mandigans and Raid are yet to play so...

Anyway, microphones crap up, time goes short, everyone has to do 1 song each. Whole of year 10, my year, pretty pissed so the mandigans decide to interlink two songs. Clever ey?

They come on, and I'm telling you, it was absolutely awesome, everyone was singing along, together, jumping up and down, having fun. Judges come up when they leave and tell us that the Mandigans have been naughty boys by playing 2 songs, so they give everyone else a second chance. Fair enough, even stevens now right?

Not. They then disqualify them for doing it. So, they lose the battle of the band. Ouch. But even worse, the friggin rappers win. Battle of the bands, and the rappers win? Eh.

Anyway, behind this, me and this girl occasionally talk, and for some reason I was pretty confident that night, so I was talking to everyone etc.

At the end she and her mate says bye bye and so on. By this time its 12pm.

3 Hours later, I'm sitting on my bed, playing my guitar cos my parents are at a due. I'm pondering whether I like this girl or not, so I phone her, she's awake but decides to text instead. Three texts later, bye, goin to bed x Fair enough.

Now usually, I wake up the next morning regretting things, but this morning...nothing. I woke up still pondering over whether I like her or not. She has a cool personality and everything, I just feel at times she finds me annoying etc. I don't like sayin it, but she ain't the prettist girl in the world, but that shouldn't bother me. I know it shouldn't. But it does, and I can't figure out why.

So good, so confusing, so tired.

What a wierd friday night.

Tom, sorry for making you read so much, needed to let it out.
