i hate working twelve days in a row, fifteen hours every day, putting up with cranky professionals who feel that i have to pamper their every whim. i hate needing to work this job. i hate saying to myself 'at least the overtime is nice.' i hate needing money. i'd rather be writing all day.

"I hate working on Mondays"
"I hate working on Tuesdays"
AA, that was actually really funny.
My brother hates his job probably more than anyone i've ever met.
Sorry to say it, but i love my job. I work at a movie theatre, and it's really cool.
If you hate your job so much, why don't you go for something else? Maybe something in journalism?
... you've probably already tried that ...

I used to hate working them too but our work is quiet just now and think I'd prefer working weekends rather than late nights during the week

No, I'm uneducated. Haven't gone to college. Don't really plan on it. I'm 19. I stay at my job because it pays well above minimum wage.

Not going to college doesn't mean you aren't educated.

LOL...my job is to write all day. I don't have days off. I put in 12 hour days either writing prose or music or playing/recording said music. It isn't as easy as it looks and is not especially lucrative early on (left my job at the end of January).
I used to be a cook and had to work weekends because that's when people go out to eat. Hated that, but put in all the o/t I could looking forward to this time. Had my first cd sales-that made it a good week. Got an email from one of my musical idols-that has made it a great week. Finished and sent off a short story-that makes a fantastic week. If only they could all be as good.

You have better grammar than most Grad students.

I don't get it. You get paid, so isn't that a good thing?
