Bouyant...

It's been a tough week, 12-14 hour days, but I'm one day away (barring disasters) from getting a big project completed and despatched to the US.

I'm bouyant on two fronts, though; because of other work commitments (see above) I've not had much opportunity to stick my oar in and interfere with the staff of The Oddville Press. In my absence they've knitted together, developed into a professional and cohesive unit and generally got on with getting the job done without fuss. In short I'm both very proud of them all and a little disappointed at becoming somewhat redundant.

I'm also delighted at the general quality of submissions, and pleased to see a few WF names surfacing.

From what I've seen so far, the first issue is going to be bloody outstanding, both in presentation and content. I have a feeling that before too long that The Oddville Press is going to be the benchmark by which others are judged. And it all started here.

The Oddville Press

PS just in case you weren't aware, we're still open for submissions - there's still a chance to make it into issue 1.

Way to go on your project, Mike. I look forward to hearing more.

Love the title The Oddville Press. Long life!
