9 Days in the Gobi Desert
Well just got back yesterday from a 9-day trek through Central Mongolia and the Gobi Desert. And when I say "back" I mean back to my apartment in Ulaanbaatar. But in 4 days I'm headed back home to the good ol' US of A. Been here for 2 months and it's been an amazing trip... but I'm ready to get home to washing machines and mexican food!

Just thought I'd share.

It's located in Mongolia, which is located between China and Russia. Think Chinggis Khan and the Huns.

I'm doing an Independent LEarning Contract with my University and am here getting academic credit for my study of women's rights in Mongolia. I'm also volunteering for an NGO here.
